In the meantime, Ossining RECYCLES!  Not just on this one day.  Between our 6 times a year, Repair Cafe, our E-Waste Drives, Green Tree Recycling textile drop-offs at the Saturday Farmers Market, municipal curbside pick up for all recyclables, there are many options as a community to participate in making Ossining greener.  Green Ossining worked toward a single use plastic bag reduction campaign at the Farmers market in partnership with EcoBAGs, Riverkeeper, and Down to Earth Markets…and we’ll be expanding our request that you refuse plastic and paper handle bags throughout Ossining in favor or reusing reuseable versions.
