Committee Meeting

Next Meeting Monday, April 5th, 7:30 pm

Meet at Engel Park at 7pm, then over to the Boathouse restaurant for our meeting.

Agenda items will include:

  • Earth Day 40/Stash The Trash 20 Event on April 10.
  • Development of the GreenOssining.org website.
  • Update on the baseline greenhouse gas inventory.

All are welcome to attend these public meetings and join the committee.

Volunteers for upcoming events needed.

EPA Declares Gowanus Canal Superfund Site

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

On March 2, 2010, EPA added the Gowanus Canal to the Agency’s Superfund National Priorities List (NPL). Placing the Gownaus Canal on the list allows the Agency to further investigate contamination at the site and develop an approach to address the contamination.
